Claire Echanove
We spent the days with our feet in the sand, chasing waves, cooking family meals, exploring Betsie Bay, and of course hunting for Petoskey stones. Each day was the perfect summer day that I never wanted to end. Generations always gathering and telling stories and honoring those before them and celebrating them every day, simply by celebrating the place they love and call home. Thats a place I'd like to call home and will forever after my time at the Sawbill.
Claire Echanove is a community chef, artist, rural leader, and owner of My Treat™️. She is a community organizer and deeply committed to nurturing local culture. She believes that place can be expressed through ingredients, recipes, traditions, and conversation around a table.
